The North Level District Internal Drainage Board are throwing open the doors of the Tydd Pumping Station as part of the Heritage Open Days weekend. Visitors will be able to explore the Pumping Station, learn about its role in the drainage of the area, view a static display of the work of the Drainage Board, talk to the people who keep us safe from flooding and see the pumps in action. Refreshments will be available and guided walks on the new permissive walkway. Pumping Station, Station Road, Tydd, PE13 5RE. Open 10.00 to 4.00. Admission free.

The Ladies Club welcomes Wayne Bent, Search Manager and Team Leader with Cambridgeshire Search & Rescue, a member of the national search and rescue network. CAMSAR works with Cambridgeshire Police to provide an emergency specially-trained team in the search for vulnerable missing persons and Wayne will be explaining the importance of their work in the county. Open to all, with an admission charge of £3 for non-members.
